1. Open CL Connect in a browser and click on Step 1.
2. Select SMTP on the right-hand side
3. Configure the UI with your SMTP setup
*Delivery Method: There are three options available for the delivery method:
Network -- configures the options for an external SMTP server.
Pickup Directory from IIS -- uses the path set in IIS to store emails to be processed.
Specified Pickup Directory -- uses a designated file path to store emails to be processed.
*From: The from address for the email. Must be in a valid email format.
*Host: The host for the SMTP server.
*Port: The port to listen on. Default is 25.
Default Credentials: True or False. Default value is False.
Username: The username used to connect to the SMTP server. Only required if Default Credentials is set to false.
Password: The username used to connect to the SMTP server. Only required if Default Credentials is set to false.
Client Domain*: Specifies the client domain name to use in the initial SMTP protocol request to connect to the SMTP mail server. The default value is the localhost name of the local computer sending the request.
Target Name: Specifies the Service Provider Name (SPN) to use for authentication when using extended protection for SMTP transactions. This attribute has no default value.
Enable SSL: True or false. Default value is True.
*Send To: The list of email address(es) to send to, comma separated. There is no limit on the number of emails allowed.
