Dependent upon school settings, the c codes below populate student tasks differently in StudentForms.

Citizenship C codes - 046, 105, 109, 141, 142, 144, and 146

Allow Upload of Citizenship Status Documentation

If a school would like to allow the student to upload their citizenship documentation into StudentForms for all citizenship documents, the school would need to turn on the setting Allow Upload of Citizenship Status Documentation in school settings.  This requires the student to:

  • Complete an affidavit
  • Provide a valid government issued photo ID
  • Provide their citizenship document

Only Allow Document Upload if US Citizen

If a school would only like the student to upload U.S. Citizenship documents but require non U.S. Citizenship documents to be provided in person, they would turn on the setting Only Allow Document Upload if US Citizen in school settings. This makes c codes 046, 105, 109, and 144 school actionable (student will not receive a task).  The student will receive a task for c codes 141, 142, and 146.

  • Please note: The student only receives an upload step with this setting, it does not require an affidavit or valid government issued photo ID.

Request Documentation In Person

If a school would like the student to upload citizenship documents if they are not able to appear in person, the setting Request Documentation In Person should be turned on. This first asks the student to appear in person at the school and then if they answer that they are unable to appear in person allows the student to upload their citizenship documents. This requires the student to:

  • Complete an affidavit
  • Provide a valid government issued photo ID
  • Provide their citizenship document

Do not allow the student to upload any citizenship documents

If the school does not want the student to upload any citizenship documentation, they would turn off all Citizenship Documents settings. This makes all citizenship c codes school actionable and the school would need to track these c codes outside of StudentForms or  work with their Customer Success Manager to develop custom tasks/triggers.
