A parent's username must be between 8 and 64 characters long. Any of the following may be used:
- Upper case letters
- Lower case letters
- The following symbols "@", "_", ".", and "-"
The username requirements may also be viewed by selecting the Username requirements link on the create account screen.
Additionally, if the parent enters a username that does not meet the requirements a message appears below the username fields indicating the username requirements.
The parent is also notified if their username has already been used. Usernames must be unique for each account, and may not be associated to multiple accounts.
Please note: If the parent has multiple students attending the same institution, they must create a separate parent account for each student for whom they are e-signing a document. They must have different usernames for each account. The parent may want to put an indicator in the username to differentiate the account associated to each student.
