Introduction

The Search Awards screen in ScholarshipUniverse allows the user to search for current and past awards that have been granted to students.  The screen provides multiple search fields to utilize in order to locate the specific awards.  This search will be available to Administrators, Award Managers, and Award Post Managers. 



Searching Awards

Award > Search Awards 

 


  • Click on [Award] link in the Menu bar on the left of the home screen;
  • Find the [Search Awards] tile in the panel view;

 


  • Click on the [Search Awards] tile and open up the Search Awards screen;



  • Search Fields:
    • Scholarship: Allows the user to search for a specific scholarship.  This is a type-ahead search, so entering a few characters will produce a drop down box with search suggestions.
    • Status: Allows the user to search for students in a defined status.  This is a multi functional text box where the user can type-ahead or click in the box to view a drop down of options.
    • Award Year: Allows the user to search students that were awarded in specific award years.  This is a multi functional text box where the user can type-ahead or click in the box to view a drop down of options.
    • Term: Allows the user to search students that were awarded in specific terms.  This is a multi functional text box where the user can type-ahead or click in the box to view a drop down of options.
    • Select Award Date: This allows the user to search students that were awarded within a determined time frame.  
      • Last Seven Days - This option will search students that were awarded in the last seven days.
      • Last Month - This option will search students that were awarded in the past month.
      • Last Three Months - This option will search students that were awarded in the past three months.
      • Exact Date - This option enables the user to search an exact date in which a student(s) was awarded. Once this option is selected from the drop down, the Date picker become enabled for the user to enter the date in which to search.
      • Date Range - This option enables the user to search a date range in which a student(s) was awarded. Once this option is selected from the drop down, the Date pickers become enabled for the user to enter a "From" and "To" date in which to search.
    • Select Posted Date: This allows the user to search students that had funds posted within a determined time frame.
      • Last Seven Days - This option will search students that had funds posted in the last seven days.
      • Last Month - This option will search students that had funds posted in the past month.
      • Last Three Months - This option will search students that had funds posted in the past three months.
      • Exact Date - This option enables the user to search an exact date in which a student(s) funds had been posted. Once this option is selected from the drop down, the Date picker become enabled for the user to enter the date in which to search.
      • Date Range - This option enables the user to search a date range in which a student(s) funds had been posted.  Once this option is selected from the drop down, the Date pickers become enabled for the user to enter a "From" and "To" date in which to search.


  • Once the search criteria has been defined, the user can click the button to display the results.

  • Results Grid - All columns can be sorted and/or filtered.
    • Student ID - Displays the student(s) ID.
    • Student Name - Displays student(s) name. 
    • Scholarship - Displays the name of the scholarship(s).
    • Amount - Displays an amount that was awarded/posted to the student.
    • Award Year - Displays the Award Year assigned to the scholarship.
    • Term - Displays the Term(s) assigned to the scholarship. 
    • Status - Displays the status of the award.
    • Awarded Date - Displays the date that the student was awarded.
    • Posted Date - Displays the date that the students funds were posted. This field could be blank depending on the status of the award.
    • Comments - Clicking on the comments will display the individual comments posted for each term.
    • History - this opens the award's history
      • Each record contains the status, total amount, adjusted amount, user who made a change to the amount/status, and date and time of change. Each record also includes a drill down to view the details of the terms, including the amount per term, adjusted amount, comments, and indicator whether it has been posted or not. If the record's user appears as "System", this is generally associated to new/adjustments through the award import process.
