  • Display Post Awards: This setting controls whether students are able to see Posted awards or remain hidden. When enabled, the Award tab within the Awards page and the Award funnel on the dashboard can be viewed by the student, ensuring they see their Posted awards. When disabled, the Award tab in the Awards page is hidden, as well as the Award funnel on the dashboard, preventing students from seeing any Posted awards.
  • Letter of Rec Request Expiration (Days): This setting controls the number of days a letter of recommendation may be submitted after its request date. If the given deadline is beyond the set number of days, the request will not expire until the deadline.
  • Display Opportunity: This switch controls the display of potential opportunity amount presented to the student while answering questions.
  • Include Direct Awards in Student Search: This allows direct award scholarships in Published or Awarding status to be found within student scholarship search results.  Student view of the scholarship will mirror the public scholarship view, where items such as matching requirements or contact information are removed.

School Settings

  • Review Pool Scholarship Within (Days): When creating a review pool, only scholarships past their deadline are shown. This setting allows scholarships to display when creating a review pool that have not yet passed their deadline. The number set here will specify the number of days prior to the scholarship's deadline that it will begin to display on the list when creating the review pool.
  • Allow Award Approvals: This setting allows the user to add an additional checkpoint when awarding and notifying students in the Manage Awardssection.

    • If NO: When creating a new scholarship, via the Scholarship Builder page, the Allow Award Approvals setting will be hidden, removing the option to add the additional checkpoint.
  • Allow Nominations: This enables Award Managers to bring in students who were not reviewed during the final round of a review pool and award them scholarship funding.
    • If YES: The Nominate feature will be enabled when adding or editing Award Views.
    • If NO: The Nominate feature will be disabled when adding or editing Award Views.

    • if YES: When a thank you is submitted by the student, regardless of needing institutional approval or not, the award will move to Ready to Post status. Approving/rejecting an award will not have any effect on the award - it will remain in its current state.
    • if NO: When a thank you is submitted by the student the award will stay in Offered status until it has been approved by the institution. Upon thank you approval, the award will then move to Ready to Post status.

Donor Settings

  • Display Simplified Donor Portal: This controls whether donor users access a portal of more detailed information or view the simplified version. The simplified donor portal does not include a dashboard and rather than showing a breakdown of scholarships by statuses it only shows one instance of a scholarship which they can view the different award year data from within.
