Introduction

The profile page allows you to view basic account information, edit certain fields based on the user, unlock user account, and deactivate/reactive accounts.



Your Own Profile

As a student, parent, or employee, all users can view their profile from any application. The appearance and functionality is the same for all user types.

  • Click on the Profile Drop Down on the top right corner



  • Select Profile



  • As a student, parent or non-admin employee, you may only update your Password, Preferred Email Address, Preferred Phone Number and Profile Picture.
    • Password change requires entering your current password, new password, and verifying your new password.
    • Preferred Email Address change requires entering the new email and your current password.
    • Preferred Phone Number change requires entering the new number and your current password.
  • All users can add a Profile Picture by clicking on the edit button.
    • You can either Browse... to find a file through your window explorer or drag and drop an image into the canvas.




Viewing Employee Profiles

As an Admin or Platform Administrator, you can view employee profile pages by running a search through the Search Users feature (see Related Articles).


  • From the Search Users page, select Employee User Type and enter one identifier to run a search.
  • To view a user profile, select the Edit icon on the result you wish to view.



  • You can Unlock a user's account if it's been locked from too many failed attempts to login (based on your Platform Settings).
  • You can Deactivate an account to restrict any access into CampusLogic applications, even if roles are still assigned to them.
    • Alternatively, the button switches to "Reactivate" if you wish to re-establish their account.
  • You can update an employee's First Name, Last Name, User Name, Preferred Email Address, and Preferred Phone Number.
    • Please be cautious about editing a User Name if your school uses Single Sign-On (SSO) - you must have the same username that is passed by your school portal.
    • While you can update the Preferred Email Address and Preferred Phone Number on behalf of a user, they will receive a notification email sent to their previous address of an address/number change.
  • You cannot change another user's Password but you can reset the password, which will send an email with a link for the user to update their password.
  • You cannot update a user's Profile Picture.



Viewing Student Profiles

As a school user, you can view student profile pages by clicking on their profile page from a specific application, or as an Admin or Platform Administrator you can also run a search through the Search Users feature (see Related Articles).


  • As a non-admin user, access the profile from the View Profile button located on the student page of StudentForms.
  • As an Admin/Platform Administrator, from the Search Users page, select Student User Type and enter one identifier to run a search.
    • To view a user profile, select the Edit icon on the result you wish to view.

  • Under the General tab, you can view the student's basic information
    • You can edit the User Name, Student ID, Preferred Email Address, and Preferred Phone Number.
      • Platform Admins only - Please be cautious about editing a User Name if your school uses Single Sign-On (SSO) - you must have the same username that is passed by your school portal.
    • You cannot change a student's Password but you can reset the password, which will send an email with a link for the student to update their password.
    • You cannot update a student's First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Social Security Number or Profile Picture.
      • If the student has not logged into StudentForms and linked an ISIR using their Social Security Number, this field will not appear in the profile screen until then.
  • Under the Communications tab, you can view the student's preferences of receiving notifications.


  • While you can update the Preferred Email Address and Preferred Phone Number on behalf of a student, they will receive a notification email sent to their previous address of an address/number change.
  • You can send a Verify email address notification to the listed email address in order for the student to verify and be eligible to receive further notifications on account information (forgot username/password).
  • You can view the student's notification settings by each CampusLogic product. Notifications are eligible to be sent and managed via email and SMS text messaging. For each template enabled by the school, the student has the ability to opt out of those specifically.
    • Emails are required for account creation and will always have an email address to send notifications to
    • SMS is only available if a mobile phone number is given at the time of account creation, or the student has entered one in their profile
    • Students do have the ability to opt out all emails/SMS text messages for each product using a master switch above the individual template list
