Release Notes

StudentForms has moved user management to a centralized setting area called Platform Management. Platform Management allows institutions with multiple CampusLogic products to manage settings in one location.

What’s Changing:

  • Application Switching: A new App Switcher will enable access to all CampusLogic products from one place.
  • Role Management: You’ll now use Platform Management to manage roles across all CampusLogic products, including StudentForms.
  • Permissions Management: You’ll now use Platform Management to create and manage users across all CampusLogic products, including StudentForms.
  • Communications Settings: You’ll now use Platform Management to manage your account across multiple CampusLogic products (students can do this, too!).

Application Switching
Use the App Switcher to access multiple CampusLogic products from one place. If you don’t currently use a specific CampusLogic product, that icon will be shaded grey in the App Switcher. If and when you purchase those products, you’ll be able to access them seamlessly here as well.

New: Role Management & Permissions Management
Previously, your user settings were found under the Admin Menu. Now, you’ll access ‘Platform Management’ from the dropdown in the header. From there, you can select the tile for ‘roles’ to manage roles across StudentForms and all your CampusLogic products.

As part of Platform Management, a new role of ‘Platform Admin’ has been created. With this role, you’ll be able to create and manage users across all CampusLogic products. As part of this release, you’ve been automatically assigned the ‘Platform Admin’ role.

New: Navigation for Creating a User
To create a user, navigate to ‘Platform Management’ and select the tile for ‘employee management.’ Then, simply pick a primary product and role to create a new user.

New: Student & School User Profile Changes
Not only do you get a single profile page to manage your account across all CampusLogic products, but your students do, too! This means students can now manage their communication settings across all products, in one place.
