Release Notes
This release includes the ability to hide matching questions from a student, a bulk application review export, an internal applications detail report, new global roles, student profile updates, updates to the Majors import, and additional fixes.
Enhancements
- [SU-1066] - Ability to Hide Questions from Students
- Admins are now able to select questions that can be hidden from the student. In Plan > Question Personalization > add/edit question, a new field called "Display to Student" is now available to manage. By default every question is enabled. When turned off, the question will not be asked or seen by the student, unless the question is used in an application (due to them needing to answer in order to submit application).
- This feature is intended to be used for Direct Award (Application Method = "No Application - Direct Award") where the question is mapped to a SIS data field. If a question is marked as hidden and added as a matching requirement to a scholarship with an application, the scholarship may appear as a partial match/non-match if the SIS never answers the question. For more information about mapping SIS data to questions, please review this article.
- [SU-1054] - Bulk Application Review Export
- A new report has been added to bulk export all applications from the current round of an active or drafted review pool. The process will create the bulk file and send the requester an email to download when finished. The export is an html file that can be opened with any browser - while the applications may looked bulked together, they will successfully print by separating each applicant on their own page(s).
- The bulk applications adhere to the current round's visibility settings, including the name and SIS sections available. By default the bulk applications will always display the entire application itself. If the student name is hidden, the anonymous ID will be displayed rather than the name and ID. If a SIS section is hidden, it will also not appear in this report. For more information about visibility settings, please review this article.
- Please note that if using the Organization/Department filters, applications will be filtered by the Org/Dept that they were assigned to at the time of the scholarship submissions.
- Please note that if using the Award Year filter, if all scholarships tied to the review pool share the same award year, that will be the only option. If the scholarships assigned to the review pool have different award years, you may select one award year to pull SIS data for.
- This report is available to Admin and Review Managers in the Reports page.
- [SU-1068] - Internal Applications Detail Report
- A new report has been added to export a list of distinct applicants that have applied to an application to help organizations and departments monitor who has been applying to their applications. The export includes a list of students, their contact information, application Organization/Department, any Review Pools associated to the student's application, the submission date of the application, and the number of scholarships tied to the application.
- This report is available to all users in the Reports page.
- [SU-946] - New Global Roles
- Two new roles have been added to the application:
- Candidate Manager: this role is created with the sole purpose of giving a user rights to manage scholarship candidates without the ability to edit any other part of a scholarship. This role has the following rights in Plan > Scholarships > Scholarship Candidates tab:
- run Auto-Match (for direct award scholarships, where Application Method = No Application - Direct Award)
- reject/recycle applicants
- view applications
- view match status
- NOTE: This role does not have the ability to report candidates for awards.
- Award Authenticator: this role is created to allow a user to approve their own award if awards have to go through the approval process. This is not a stand alone role, and should only be assigned as an add on to any user who can have this right. All other roles, including Admins, cannot approve their own awards. Award approvals are managed in Award > Manage Awards. For more information about the award approval process, please review this article.

- The import process now accepts the optional column "STATUS" to bulk manage the status to Activate (A) or Deactivate (D) majors.
- Admin users can manage majors in Settings > Majors & Programs. For more information about the Majors import, please review this article.

- Added additional accessibility enhancements to ensure that required items are correctly reporting the name of the required item when read by a screen reader.
Fixes
- [SU-1072] - Single Sign-On Profile Switch
- Resolved an issue where the user switch for Single Sign-On (SSO) users who have both a student and school user account was not switch the view correctly. This option is only available for SSO schools who have enabled the feature, where a user has the same SSO username as both a student and school user. When available, the user has the option to switch views from the top right profile drop down.
