Enhancements

  • [SU-1396] - View Application from Scholarship Candidates Tab Now a Full Page Modal
    • By popular request, the View Application page from the Scholarship > Candidates tab has now been transformed into a full page modal for viewing. This request stems from users' experience of being redirected to a whole different page and when navigating back being taken to the Scholarship > General tab and having to navigate back to where they were before. Now the View Application button pops a full page modal to view all of the application information and closing it will leave users exactly where they were before.
  • [SU-1467] - SIS Data Security Management
    • In a prior release, two new user roles were added to give users additional rights: High Sensitive Data Manager and Medium Sensitive Data Manager. These roles now correlate with the Sensitivity Tier security added to Data Fields.
    • Institutions now have the ability to hide sensitive SIS data from groups of users across the entire application. Medium Sensitive Data Managers will have the right to view SIS data and any mapped answers that are flagged as Medium sensitivity. High Sensitive Data Managers will have the right to view SIS data and any mapped answers that are flagged as High sensitivity. Please note that High Sensitivity does not have the right to view Medium sensitive SIS data/mapped answers. If user needs access to both groups, they should be assigned both roles. All ScholarshipUniverse roles have the ability to view Low sensitive SIS data/mapped answers.
    • By default, the security settings are disabled. You must contact your Customer Success Manager to enabled the modified security updates. These changes are in effect for all areas across the application:

  • [SU1456] - View All Active Awards in Student Profile
    • School users can now see all active awards given to a student within the student profile > Awards tab. Previously only outstanding awards (meaning the student currently needs to accept the award and/or write a thank you letter) and posted awards could be viewed from the student profile, but anything other than that required school users to search for other awards in various pages, including Manage Awards and Search Awards. The Awards drop down under the Award tab in the student profile now displays all active awards and includes the status of each award for a quick review of student awards.
      • Please note that the Awards drop down on the student side continues to only show awards that have been Posted. This new feature is only for the school side.

  • [SU-1521] - Manage Viewability of Posted Awards for Students
    • Institutions can now manage the visibility of Posted awards for their students. Currently any award given to the student is visible as soon as the award moves to Posted status. Student see these awards on both the Awards page and within the Award funnel on their dashboard. A new switch has been added to Settings > Basic Settings called "Display Posted Awards". When enabled, the Award tab within the Awards page and the Award funnel on the dashboard can be viewed by the student, ensuring they see their Posted awards. When disabled, the Award tab in the Awards page is hidden, as well as the Award funnel on the dashboard, preventing students from seeing any Posted awards.

Fixes

  • [SU-1491] - Donor Management Updates
    • Added standard sort and filtering to the Donors grid and the Donor Users and Institutional Users grids within the Donor page.
    • Resolved an issue where periods at the end of the donor name would not allow to be saved. Example is "Dr. Michael, M.D."
    • Fixed an issue where the Scholarship Import processed errors for any Donor name containing a comma. Example is "Dr. Michael, M.D."
  • [SU-1526] - Additional Awards Terms Not Saving Award Amounts
    • Fixed an issue where adding a new term to a scholarship that has already begun awarding as not saving awards for the new term correctly. This only occurred for scholarships that already have an award created. When adding a new term to a scholarship, the any new award amounts given for that term will now properly save.
  • [SU-1540] - Student Profile Image Not Rendering
    • Resolved the issue where the student profile image was not correctly rendering when viewing the student's profile and thank you letters where the image merge field was being used. If the student has a profile image it will now display as expected.
