After 5 unsuccessful login attempts, the parent account is locked.  The message that is displayed to the parent directs them contact the system administrator to unlock their account. StudentForms School users with the following roles may unlock parent accounts: School Admin, School Admin (Limited), School FAO, School FAO (Enhanced), School Help Desk.



The school user searches for student in StudentForms. On the Student Profile screen, select the "View" icon in the Parent Users section.



The school user is redirected to the parent's profile in PlatformManagement, where they would select the "Unlock" button. If the parent has forgotten their password, the school user may also click the "Reset Password" icon which will send the reset password email to the parent.
